ABC Kayaking founder Andrew Bonney has been paddling Sea, Surf and Inland for over 25 years; having dedicated his life to paddlesports and the pursuit of developing the sport where he can.

ABC Kayaking has been teaching white water kayaking in the advanced world for over a decade, a lot of that time has been progressing other professionals in the industry, the majority of paddlesports providers out there now have come to us for our experience knowledge and teaching. It is a pleasure to see our student from 10 years ago progress and start their own business. 

Here at ABCkayaking, we care about the development of the sport, our experience in the industry comes from real experience, working and travelling the globe in pursuit of kayaking in all of its many forms, Andrew's experience of working on grade 5  rivers on five continents of the world. Andrew is an Expedition Raft guide and kayaker, the wilderness is his expertise and keeping people safe and teaching this is his specialty. NZ, Canada, Chile, Norway, Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Latvia. 

 Following this passion it does not matter if you are a new comer to the sport or an advanced river leader, we are here to help develop the next generation of paddlers, leaders; guides and coach and share the knowledge and practices we use. 

Andrew was mentored by some of the most respected kayakers and coaches the industry and worked for Gene17Kayaking for a decade. Andrew does not. sit on any committee's , however has the ears of those that do, this is why what Andrew teaches you can for sure know it will be in the syllabus in years to come. you just get the cutting edge with ABC Kayaking. 

Andrew still teaches beginner white water kayakers and guides white water rafts every summer in Slovenia. Andrew still enjoy's to mix it up and teach and give the opportunity to all to get the experts tuition from the beginning setting you up for the best. 

Andrew professional circle within British Canoeing coaches, Rescue 3 international, the International Rafting federation & the NZRA the NZ Rafting Federation. expertise from all over the world. 

Andrew has trained with he English Surf kayak team and coached the junior English squad. 

As we go back to our routes please welcome the Surf Kayaking and Sea kayak Courses. 

From a decade of using inflatables we are now offering SUP coaching and Safety and Rescue. 

We have recently gained an  AALA Licence.
